Exotic, painterly, and chic — this piece is for the travelers and dreamers who love to collect stories wherever they roam! We brought together an eclectic and beautiful mix of prints that evoke the rich texture of a tapestry. The watercolour painting with its elegant vase and dried sunflowers was done by Dutch artist Maria Vos in 1879. We were enchanted by the lush, sun-washed colours in her work— and intrigued by the wall panel of the mother figure and the key in the painting’s background. We mixed Vos’s work with several other art pieces, including a late 1700’s paper block-print, a Turkish carpet, and the design from a French antique Chinoiserie plate. PS — this design was inspired by the timeless style of Danielle’s forever muse…her mom, Diana, who models with her in these pics :)
After so many requests from our wonderful customers, we're thrilled to introduce scarves to our lineup! We've modelled the size and weight after our favourite vintage French scarves to create chic, easy to wear designs for every day use. Wear them wrapped once around the neck, tucked in to a jacket, or tied in the hair. Crafted from soft viscose, the fabric is a lighter, airier weight than our kimonos, with the same beautifully soft feel.
100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Handwash, hang to dry.
68cm x 155cm.
